First run
After 3 days of hard work, cleaning, tank-paintjob, filters, spark and oil change, front-calliper overhaul, reconnecting some electric stuff, I was ready for the first run.
I can only say: I love the Yamaha's, it runs smooth to 130Km/h(80miles/h), no bad noises, only a red light? in the speedometer and a knobbly front-tire(not for street-use).
Looking still for a proper manual to fix some things and order parts!

XT225 Serow bought!
Why in english?...... because it seems to be the only one in Holland. Sold in the USA, UK and Japan mainly.
Seller said it was imported from South-Afrika. I,m trying to get a full history of it.
So far: build 1985, on the road since 1990, imported to NL in 2007
It's a 1KH build 1985 Kickstart, 6-speed, rear drum-brake.
30.000 KM's(19000 Miles), starts and runs well.
Lots of little things to do, but first check everything make it run like new, then tear it apart and rebuild completely.
